Welcome to the July Newspost from Hilary and Paula.
Lets start with a song…
Return to ‘Live’ singing
We are SO pleased that at last we can get back to ‘LIVE’ singing!
The start date for ALL CHOIRS will be week beginning 26th July. The dates for the individual choirs are below. Everyone who has signed up should now have an email with all the relevant information. If you have not yet received the email, please do get in touch.
To ensure that everyone feels comfortable on their return to singing, and although most restrictions have now been lifted, we have decided to retain some restrictions for our first block of sessions. We will be reviewing these restrictions in September so hopefully we can get back to some sort of normality.
With thanks in advance for your understanding, it is really important to us that everyone feels safe to return to singing once more.
Please look out for an email with the lyrics attached to print off. Please note, we are not able to supply any lyric sheets at rehearsals and sharing is discouraged. If you do not have access to a printer and cannot get someone to do it for you, please do email us.

‘BLUE’ turns 50!
Blue is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, released on June 22, 1971 by Reprise Records. Written and produced entirely by Mitchell, it was recorded in 1971 at A&M Studios in Hollywood, California.
Created just after her breakup with Graham Nash, and during an intense relationship with James Taylor, Blue explores various facets of relationships from infatuation on “A Case of You” to insecurity on “This Flight Tonight”. The songs feature simple accompaniments on piano, guitar and Appalachian dulcimer.
Today, Blue is generally regarded by music critics as one of the greatest albums of all time.
